High in High-Waist

I know what you’re thinking, and it is a little hard to believe... or maybe not, but ‘70s style high-waist flare jeans are the latest trend for spring 2011. It’s hard to keep up these days – denim trends seem to change as often as celebrities change their hairstyle. But do you know that this was a blast around year 2007? It isn't actually a new trend at all but it is back with an outbreak! It's just that, now... may it be a high-waist skinny, flare or wide leg jeans or may it be a high-waist culottes, pleated or denim shorts or may it be a high-waist in denim, balloon or pencil cut skirt will give you that "it girl" look! Didn't you just notice the word High-Waist? Oh yes! As long as you're sporting a high-waist piece, regardless of the fabric then you are totally IN this season!

Celebrity High in High-Waist

What's good about this high-waist trend is that it can give you a girly, casual, sophisticated or laid-back look depends on the matching accessory, bag or shoes. High-waist trend doesn't actually give you a limit. You can literally wear your high waist piece to sport the look that you like. Oh there's just one rule though! When you wear your high-waist piece, whatever top you to pair it with make sure you TUCK IT IN!

I myself have been trying really hard to pull off this trend regardless of that obvious fatty bulge, i guess my friends can tell! Here are my own mix & match of a high-waist piece!
